Art Omi in Ghent spans 120 acres with sixty-plus rotating sculptures through meadow, woods, and wetland; summer Saturdays feature free evening concerts.
Art Omi is a nonprofit international arts center on 120 acres of rural Columbia County land, home to the Fields Sculpture Park. More than 60 large-scale works by artists and architects from around the world live here, added and rotated most years so the loop through the property looks a little different each visit. Grounds are open dawn to dusk daily except Tuesdays, and from late May through early September the park stays open until 7pm on Saturdays with a free outdoor concert on the lawn as part of its Long Light series.
Walk the property and you'll find sculptures sitting right in the landscape instead of behind ropes.
