The Copake Falls area is the northern anchor of Taconic State Park, a strip of land running along the New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut tri-state border in northeastern Columbia County. Most people come for one thing: the hike to Bash Bish Falls, a roughly 60-foot single drop into a green pool on the Massachusetts side of the line: the tallest single-drop waterfall in Massachusetts, even though you reach it from New York.
