Donald Kendall, PepsiCo's chairman, started buying sculpture for the corporate campus in 1965. From office-lobby pieces, the collection grew to 45 major works by Rodin, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder, Jean Dubuffet, Arnaldo Pomodoro, and Claes Oldenburg. Rather than lining them up like a sculpture park, each piece is deliberately sited among willows, perennial beds, and ponds across 168 acres, with the landscape designed as intentionally as the art collection itself.
The result is an experience where landscape and sculpture are inseparable.
