Arrowood Farms in Accord grows certified-organic hops and grains, turning them into beer and, since 2020, gin and whiskey on site.
Arrowood Farms started in 2013 as Blake Arrowood's hop farm. When 48 acres of hops alone weren't enough to sustain the operation, he and managing partner Jacob Meglio began brewing their own beer. By 2017 the farm had become New York's only producer of NOFA-certified organic hops and grains for its own brewery, and the distillery opened in 2020, turning estate-grown grain into gin, vodka, and whiskey.
The beer lineup mixes their hops and grains with collaborations from neighboring farms.
