Blooming Hill Farm has been growing organic vegetables on this land since the early 1980s, when Guy Jones started it as a wholesale operation supplying farmers markets and New York City restaurants. Sixty miles north of Manhattan, the farm now grows more than 150 varieties of produce, still sells wholesale into the city, and runs its own restaurant on-site using whatever's coming out of the fields that week.
