Fred and Jessie Lemka started this farm in 1910 as Glenwood Fruit Farm and Dairy, and it's stayed in the family through four generations since: Ray and Suzanne Lemka next, then Ken and Kris Lemka Johnson, who moved the store back onto the farm in 2001 and renamed it Kristy's Barn. Matt and Amanda Brizzell took over running the place in 2023 when Ken and Kris retired. The farm has run on solar power since 2010 and still works the same 300-plus acres the Lemkas started with over a century ago.
