Milea Estate Cabernet Franc from Staatsburg earned Best in New York State and 92 points from Wine Enthusiast. Pour it on the 1799 farmhouse porch.
Barry Milea bought a piece of the old Rymph family farm in 1984, long before a vineyard took root here. He and his wife Sang planted Milea Estate in 2015 across 102 acres overlooking the Hudson highlands. Sang, who grew up farming in Korea, runs the organic gardens that feed the kitchen. The 1799 Staatsburg House still stands on the property, restored into a guest house included with some wedding packages.
