Eliza in Kingston serves Hudson Valley bistro cooking from a wood-fired grill, with plates built around one idea and short natural wine list.
Eliza comes from the team behind Ollie's Pizza and Kingston Wine Co., and it's a warm, unfussy take on a European bistro on Broadway in midtown Kingston. Chef Chris Bradley and chef de cuisine Pruitt Kerdchooshuen run an open kitchen built around a wood-fired grill that puts a little smoke on everything: oysters, vegetables, a whole roasted chicken.
The menu stays narrow on purpose: housemade bread and pasta, a charcuterie board, seasonal vegetables, fish and chips, a Butcher's Blend burger, and a rotating protein special. The ingredient drives each plate.

We went to Eliza. Here's where it lands.
Everything above is free and stays free. The guide adds the part that took the driving: the tier we gave Eliza, whether we'd go back, and the caveat we'd tell a friend — plus the same for 459 other places across the Hudson Valley, NY.
