The Kingston Waterfront Farmers' Market sets up every Sunday in TR Gallo Park, right on the Rondout Creek in the Stockade District. It's a five-minute walk from the antique shops and restaurants on Broadway. The Kingston Waterfront Business Association runs it, and the vendor list is decidedly local: Little Rye Bakeshop and Kingston Bread & Bar for baked goods, produce farmers, cheesemakers, a rotating group of prepared-food stands, and craft vendors selling soap, textiles, and other handmade goods.
Live music plays most Sundays, dogs are welcome on leash, and the crowd mixes regulars doing their weekly shop with visitors who've wandered down from Broadway.
