The Rosendale Farmers Market has been going since 2005, and it functions quite differently depending on when you visit. From May through October, vendors gather on Sundays in Willow Kiln Park, tucked right behind the Rosendale Theatre, with the old cement kilns creating a striking backdrop.
You'll typically find organic produce, pastured meat and poultry, eggs, cheese, bread and baked goods, plants and flowers, maple syrup, and local value-added goods from vendors who commit to the market regularly. Between 11am and 1pm, live musicians play, which means your grocery run becomes more like a Sunday hang.
