Millerton Farmers' Market is one of the few Hudson Valley markets running straight through winter, indoors at the Methodist church from January to April.
Millerton's year-round operation sets it apart: most Hudson Valley markets close after October, but this one stays open all year. Summer hours are 10am-2pm, and come winter the schedule tightens to every Saturday in November and December, then the second and fourth Saturday from January through April, with the market moving indoors to the Millerton Methodist Church.
The North East Community Center runs the market as part of its food-access work, keeping the vendor list small and curated rather than sprawling. Breezy Hill Orchard has grown heirloom fruit varieties since 1949; Moon in the Pond Farm has been farming naturally since 1991.
