Newburgh Farmers' Market runs all winter on the waterfront: outdoors at Safe Harbors Green in summer, indoors at Ritz Theater Stage House in winter.
Newburgh Farmers' Market sets up every Saturday on Safe Harbors Green, the plaza where Broadway meets Liberty Street and the ground drops toward the river. Common Ground Farm, the Hudson Valley nonprofit that runs it, treats the market as food-access work first: the goal is feeding and engaging the Newburgh community and closing a real gap in access to fresh, locally grown food.
Vendor count runs 5 to 15 depending on the week: produce growers, bakers, prepared-food sellers, a craft table or two, and a coffee stand that regulars hit before anything else. The outdoor season runs May 2 through November 21 in 2026, Saturdays 10am to 3pm, and it doesn't stop there: a smaller market moves indoors to the Ritz Theater Stage House at 100 Ann Street, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, December through late April.
