Stephano's Ristorante

Stephano's opened on Main Street in Fishkill more than twenty years ago, and it still runs like a neighborhood restaurant that knows half its regulars by name. The dining room has real woodwork and enough room to handle a table of eight without turning into a banquet hall, which is why birthday dinners and after-Little-League groups fill it up on weekend nights.

The calamari comes out hot and not overbattered. The chicken parmigiana is built for people who want their plate to last two meals.
