The dining room is small and brick-walled, warmly lit, built for lingering rather than turning tables fast, and the portions match that pace: everything arrives generous and made to order.
Start with the Locanda Hot Tails, shrimp sauteed in a hot cherry pepper sauce, or the antipasto plate loaded with pepperoni, prosciutto, salami, and three cheeses. From there the veal is the reason regulars keep a reservation on repeat: saltimbocca with sage and prosciutto in a brown wine sauce over spinach, veal Marsala, veal Franchese in lemon butter.
