Carrie Haddad Gallery

Carrie Haddad opened the first fine art gallery in Hudson in 1991, well before Warren Street became the gallery row it is now, and the 3,000-square-foot space she built across two floors still sets the pace. The main floor runs six group shows a year; the second floor rotates through work from the gallery's full roster of represented artists, so the walls rarely look the same from one visit to the next.

The roster spans painting, sculpture, photography, and works on paper, mixing artists with established gallery careers alongside newer names the directors are betting on. Linden Scheff and Lena Petersen have run the gallery since 2016, carrying forward the eye that made Haddad a founding figure in Hudson's arts scene, and they'll talk through a piece or help you build a collection if you're furnishing more than one wall.
