A married couple, one with twenty years in luxury fashion retail, one in finance with a nose for rare objects, built this two-level shop inside a former police precinct on Warren Street. The stock deliberately mixes design eras, pairing a Renaissance-style portrait with a 1970s Italian desk on purpose, rather than sticking to one look.
Heads upThe shop is pet-friendly and welcomes dogs. The two-level layout with stairs requires walking. Street parking is available on Warren Street.
FINCH was founded in 2013 by Andrew Arrick and Michael Hofemann, a married couple whose backgrounds made the shop possible. Arrick brought 20 years of luxury retail experience, having worked for Yves Saint Laurent, Celine, Carolina Herrera, and Vera Wang. Hofemann came from finance, marketing, and operations, with a talent for finding unusual objects wherever he travels. Together they built a shop that reads like their combined instincts: high design taste backed by retail discipline.
The shop occupies a 10,000-square-foot mid-century brick building, a former police precinct on Warren Street. Concrete floors, exposed steel beams, skylights, and a glass facade flood the two-level space with natural light. It's a striking space that merits a visit before you even look at the merchandise.
The stock spans Scandinavian and European furniture, vintage pieces, contemporary art, apparel, and wellness products. Arrick and Hofemann curate deliberately: a Renaissance-style portrait might hang beside a mid-century lamp and a 1970s Italian desk. You'll find both owners in the shop regularly. If you ask about a piece's backstory or how it might work in a particular room, they'll walk you through it.
The space is two levels with stairs, so plan accordingly if that's a concern. Dogs are welcome throughout.
