Bistro 27 sits at the Catskill Golf Resort, formerly known as Fairways Restaurant, on the 10th tee with a veranda overlooking four pickleball courts and the back nine. Chef Christa runs a small, changing lunch menu built around what's in season, priced like a golf-course grill even though the food surpasses that expectation.
You don't need to golf or play pickleball to eat here; it's open to the public, and much of the crowd does neither. Thursday nights bring an Italian prix-fixe with wine specials, and happy hour runs 4 to 6 with its own pricing.
