Inquiring Mind Bookstore & Cafe

Inquiring Mind Bookstore sits on Main Street, where it's been since 2003, and is the largest independent bookstore in the Hudson Valley. Locals settle into the couches to read, students claim tables to work, and browsers lose an afternoon working through stock that runs from new releases to used paperbacks nobody else stocks anymore.

Beyond the shelves, there are vinyl records, CDs, games, and puzzles. The cafe serves Coffee Labs Roasters coffee and pastries from Sugar Me Sweet Bakers and has become a destination in its own right, especially when open mics and author events come through.
