Rock Da Casbah

Rock Da Casbah brings farm-to-table cooking to Saugerties' Main Street inside a room with pressed tin ceilings, exposed brick, and rock-and-roll art on the walls. The menu turns over with the seasons and is built around hand-crafted pasta, local proteins, and vegetable dishes designed to stand on their own, with vegan and gluten-free options built into the main menu rather than boxed off to the side.

Regulars order the mushroom soup, the Asian wings seasoned with 29 spices, and pasta dishes named after classic rock songs. Burgers come loaded with pepper jack and avocado (grass-fed or Impossible, your call), and the short rib sandwich and the cilantro-pesto tempeh sandwich both hold their own against the meat options.
