The Saugerties Farmers' Market is in its 25th season, still setting up every Saturday morning from May through October in the Cahill School parking lot on Main Street. The market started as a modest weekly gathering decades ago and is now central to the town's calendar.
The vendor roster covers the range: seasonal vegetables from arugula to zucchini, orchard fruit, artisan bread and baked goods, cheese, honey, maple syrup, pasture-raised poultry, and prepared food you can eat on a bench nearby. New for 2026: Bad Grass Farm's Italian specialty greens, TransGenerational Farm's vegetables and eggs, and Shawn's Fresh Fish, which finally gives the market a straightforward seafood option.
