Saturday mornings from Memorial Day through the Saturday before Thanksgiving belong to the TaSH farmers market. More than 30 stalls of produce, bread, cheese, and craft spirits fill the park from 8:30am to 1:30pm, with live music and chef demos running throughout. Arrive before 10am for the popular bread or fish stalls; they sell out quickly.
The rest of the week and off-season, Patriots Park is quieter: a stone bridge, memorials including a Christopher Columbus monument, a basketball court, and playground equipment that gets steady use.
