Kelder's Farm has worked this stretch of Route 209 since 1779. It began as a family operation raising chickens, pigs, and dairy cattle, and it's grown over the decades into the Rondout Valley's biggest u-pick spread. More than 100 acres are planted in strawberries, sunflowers, pumpkins, and apples that come ready one after another from late April through November 1. Ulster County named it Tourism Business of the Year in 2016, and the place has only added attractions since.
