Petals & Moss in Red Hook builds hand-tied bouquets from what's blooming that week, often from owner Nancy Lee's own garden, never from trucks.
Nancy Lee has worked as a horticulturist for more than 25 years, and it shows in what she stocks. Hand-tied bouquets are built mostly from what's blooming that week at regional growers, or cut straight from her own garden in season, never from wholesalers or refrigerated trucks. The shop is small and spare, with a few tables of fresh and dried arrangements and a shelf of small-batch, handmade bath and body items you can test before you buy.
Nancy takes on weddings and events, from a single bridal bouquet to a full room installation, and teaches occasional workshops for anyone who wants to learn to tie their own arrangements.
