Rose Hill Farm in Red Hook: family-run since 1798, offers pick-your-own blueberries through apples and a taproom with fermented ciders.
You can pick blueberries in June or apples in November at this farm, with cherries, apricots, peaches, and plums filling the summer. The Brittain family has run it since 1798. There's no entry or parking fee; you pay only for what you pick. The Catskills appear on the horizon while you're working the rows, far enough from the main roads to feel like an escape.
