The Main Course
The Main Course in Cold Spring has run a tiny Chestnut Street takeout on Mediterranean principles since 1996 with hummus wraps and salmon cakes.
Two friends opened The Main Course on Chestnut Street in 1996, wanting to share the food they loved with the town they lived in. Nearly three decades later, that's still the whole operation: a small storefront built almost entirely around takeout, running on Mediterranean diet principles.
The daily-changing menu runs on what's fresh that morning, serving bright, simple food made from scratch. You'll find salads, soups, sandwiches, quiches, and a rotating case of muffins, scones, and desserts.
