Village Pizza II has occupied Main Street in Catskill since 1986, run by owner Angelo LaRosa in the old-school Catskill style: thin, crisp crust with real tomato sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni that taste like they should. Order a slice or a whole pie; both hold up.
The pizza runs a little loose in the middle, so regulars eat it with a fork the way New Yorkers do with a floppy slice. It's how the pie is built, and regulars order it that way on purpose.
