Arlington Farmers' Market fills Vassar's Alumnae Lawn in Poughkeepsie Thursday evenings with wool and fiber vendors plus WIC and SNAP access.
Arlington Farmers' Market claims the after-work slot no other market in the area fills: Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm, May 28 through October 29, on Vassar College's Alumnae Lawn just off Raymond Avenue. Arlington Has It, the local business improvement district, runs the market, giving commuters and Vassar staff a reason to stop before heading home instead of hitting a grocery store on the way.
Dozens of vendors set up across the grass with local vegetables and fruit, meat and honey, baked goods, jewelry, and wool and fiber goods. You'll find yourself drawn to the prepared food.

Everything above is free and stays free. The guide adds the part that took the driving: the tier we gave Arlington Farmers' Market, whether we'd go back, and the caveat we'd tell a friend — plus the same for 459 other places across the Hudson Valley, NY.
One-time purchase. Permanent access and every future revision included.
