BSP Kingston
BSP Kingston, a 1900s Wall Street landmark, closed permanently in 2020 and now operates as a private production facility.
BSP occupied a landmark early-1900s building at 323 Wall Street that started life as a vaudeville and movie house for Kingston residents and tourists who arrived by Hudson River ferry. At its peak it ran half a city block between Wall and Crown Streets: a 1,500-person auditorium in back, a Spiegeltent, a front room with its own bar and stage, a Hudson Valley Circus Arts studio, and a dance studio upstairs. For over a decade it was the biggest room in Kingston's Stockade District, hosting touring bands, dance nights, and community events inside the original theater's preserved architectural details.
BSP closed in 2020 during the pandemic and never reopened.
