Kingston Consignments on Front Street fills 7,000 square feet with consignment furniture and dealer booths in a former beauty-supply building since 2017.
McElroy had spent a decade running a booth at the Beekman Arms Antique Market in Rhinebeck before he and Eric Savolainen, who also owns Hyde Park Consignments, looked for a Kingston space in 2017. When they found this former beauty-supply building on Front Street, they saw potential in what McElroy calls the space's "twisty-turny" layout. They converted the roughly 7,000 square feet into two floors of consignment furniture, art, and collectibles, opening in October 2017.
