Jamie Bishop and Larry Stock have been friends since the first day of fifth grade. Bishop was working in medical sales, Stock in construction, and they home-brewed for fun on a kit Bishop's wife gave him as a birthday present. Kold One, a Kolsch-Pilsner hybrid, came out of that basement setup in 2012. A year later the two of them and three other partners opened Mill House Brewing Company in this Mill Street building, and it's still the beer most order first.
