Boice Bros. has scooped in Kingston since Pratt and Harriett Boice opened it in 1914 as an offshoot of the family dairy. The dairy still supplies hormone- and antibiotic-free milk and cream to retailers across the Hudson Valley today. The shop calls itself The Milk House, and every scoop comes from the family's own cows.
Classics like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and black raspberry share the menu with less common flavors like pistachio-cardamom, Syrian date and walnut, and coffee made with real ground beans.
