John Paul and Yvonne Crozier opened it in 1986 with a commitment to local sourcing and in-house butchering that remains central to the operation today. Chef Joseph and his wife Jennifer run it now, keeping that tradition alive through carefully crafted French classics. The compact storefront on East Market Street contains a surprisingly intimate and sophisticated space, with a striking serpentine lilac marble bar where the oyster-shucking station takes center stage, serving both raw and fried oysters.
