Peekskill's Riverfront Green Park: a former industrial waterfront turned sculpture walk with Emil Alzamora's bronze family and a kinetic dragonfly.
Riverfront Green sits right on the Hudson's edge in Peekskill, with the Highlands rising across the water. The land was industrial waterfront through most of the 20th century (piers, factories, junkyards) before the city and Scenic Hudson rebuilt it starting in 2014 into a 4.4-acre park with a shoreline boardwalk, a pedestrian footbridge, and paved multi-use trails. A second phase in 2016 added another three acres, bringing an elevated walkway across Travis Cove, two boat docks, and an overlook toward Charles Point.
The park doubles as an open-air sculpture walk.
