Hudson Valley history and the outdoors get dedicated sections, with maps throughout. The owner makes a habit of tracking down hard-to-find titles for regulars who ask.
The music side runs equally deep. Rock, R&B, jazz, blues, and country vinyl occupy real shelf space, with CDs and cassettes filling in around them. There's a record player at the counter so you can test a pressing before buying. At these prices, walking out with six records and two books for around forty dollars isn't unusual.
