The restored 19th-century bank building at Wall and John Streets has high ceilings, good light, and space enough for a solo guest at the bar and a six-top celebrating together. It's technically part of Hotel Kinsley, but the locals who fill this room have claimed it as their own dining room.
Chef Spencer Coplan runs a New American menu built on Southern and French technique over Hudson Valley produce. The dinner menu spans Nashville hot chicken and shrimp and grits, a smashburger and lamb shoulder ragu, trout almondine and vegetarian plates like ricotta gnocchi and a spring frittata.
