Dressel Farms has been growing apples on these 400 acres for generations. The roadside stand sells farm-pressed cider and cider donuts year-round (closed Sundays), but most of us come for the u-pick orchard itself: weekends only in September and October, 10am to 4:30pm. Honeycrisp, Gala, Golden Delicious, and Ida Red trees line the rows under a clear view of the Shawangunks.
Strawberry picking opens in June, and pumpkins show up alongside the fall apples.
